Cancellation policy:  

If you need to cancel or reschedule for any reason, do so as soon as possible so we can attempt to fill your session time. Please note, when we are referring to a cancellation here, this also includes your need to reschedule your session. Please call or text to cancel your session. If we are unable to answer your call, please leave your name and scheduled session time in a voicemail as well as sending a text. If you are experiencing any signs of illness or anticipate a change in schedule, contact us prior to 48 hours of your scheduled session time to avoid a cancellation fee. While we understand life happens and circumstances outside of your control do arise, we have set aside time, especially for you. Last minute cancellations come at a cost to us. For this reason, our cancellation policy is as follows:

Non-Members: If canceled with less than 48 hours notice, for any reason, including illness or emergency, you will be charged 50% of your scheduled service. If cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, for any reason, including illness or emergency, you will be charged 100% of your scheduled service.  If you are able to send someone in your place who will pay the full cost of your session, no cancellation fee will incur. If you are sending someone in your place, you must notify us at the time of cancellation. Whoever comes in your place must complete their paperwork prior to the session. If arrangements are not made for your replacement, or if your replacement does not complete the steps required prior to their session, you will receive an invoice or your card on file will be charged. If you no call no show  to your session, for any reason, including illness or emergency,  you will be charged 100% of your scheduled service. You will receive an invoice to pay the full cost of your session which must be paid within 24 hours. Clients with cards on file will be notified before the card is processed. Calls that are received after the start of the scheduled session time constitutes a no call no show. 

Members: If cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, for any reason, including illness or emergency, A one time fee of $35 for members will be charged to your card on file. You will be notified before the charge is processed. Cancellations made before 24 hours of your scheduled session time will not incur a cancellation fee. If you send someone in your place who completes their paperwork prior to the scheduled session time OR if we are able to fill your session time with another client, no cancellation fee will incur. If sending someone in your place, you must inform us at the time of cancellation. If arrangements are not made for your replacement, your replacement does not complete the steps required prior to their session, or if we are unable to fill your session, your card on file will be charged. If you no call no show to your session, for any reason, including illness or emergency, you will not be able to redeem said monthly member credit. Calls that are received after the start of the scheduled session time constitutes a no call no show. 

Cancellations for gift certificates and Groupon sessions: Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice for clients using a gift certificate or Groupon purchase will be charged a $35 fee on the day of service. 

Our cancellation policy is non-negotiable and cancellation fees are non-refundable. By scheduling via phone, text, or online, you fully agree and consent to our most current cancellation policy. Rain Massage & Bodywork is not responsible for any fees you incur should you not receive reminder texts or emails.

Notice:

Your health and safety is our utmost priority. Because of this, your therapist holds the right to deny service to any client who they believe may be harmed, in any way, by receiving massage therapy or bodywork of any kind  Your therapist has undergone extensive education to identify when a massage will or could potentially result in harm to you. If your safety to receive massage is in question, for any reason, the massage will be rescheduled. Your therapist will not reimburse for time, travel, or any other costs associated with attending your scheduled appointment.  

Any changes to your health must be communicated to your therapist as soon as possible to ensure your safety and to make any necessary accommodations. If you have been diagnosed with blood clots, are undergoing cancer treatment, have become pregnant/ suspect pregnancy, are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, acute infection, acute injury, or are experiencing unknown swelling, please cancel your session immediately.
